EDIT: As much as I love almost everything you say here, Geroge, I do have to point one thing out. I know you're doing it for funnies and that clarifying your statement would kind of kill the joke, but lesbians can also be in need of an abortion. Sadly, they can get raped too, and probably do as a result of homophobic hate crimes.
Also, abortion is not always an elective procedure. A lesbian couple, or a homosexual couple, using a surrogate, can suffer complications during a pregnancy and need to terminate it. Let's not exclude homosexuals or deny their realities.
That said, I have to applaud your genius:

I stumbled this and I am sure I agreed with everything he said, but I find George Carlin kind of (ok, very) abrasive so I admit I didn't watch the whole thing. Still, good points!

I would also like to point out that in africa if not other places, lesbians are at risk of being raped by idiotic men who actually believe that they can change the lesbian's sexual orientation in such a manner... :O

ReplyDeleteExactly. While cis gay men will never need an abortion, cis lesbians are often targets of rape from homophobic neanderthals who think either that they can "turn" her or that she deserves to be punished for being so "immoral." Same, unfortunately, goes for trans men.
So, the (cis) Gs will never need an abortion, but the Ls, the Bs, and the Ts are as likely as your average cis hetero woman to need one.
